Your agreement with us is made up of these terms and conditions, which cover the provision of the service and any software we may provide to you

What you need?

In order for us to provide the service you will need to register with us

When does your agreement with us start and finish

Your agreement will begin on the day we provide you with the service. All dates are estimates and we cannot guarantee we will meet them

Your agreement will continue until terminated by either party.Annual subscription fee is automatically renewable unless otherwise notified in writing?

Getting started

You agree to follow any reasonable instructions including security instructions that we may give you about the service or access to our site.

Quality of the service

We do not guarantee that the service will be free from faults. You agree to report any faults to us promptly. We will try to repair any faults you report within a reasonable timescale.

For operational reasons we may suspend the service or vary the technical specification of the service. We will try to tell you before we do this

Charges to use the service

You agree to pay any charges for the service as described in the Price Terms. Any price if charged will be explained to you well in advance.

Ending the agreement

If you wish, you may end this agreement at any time by giving us 7 days notice, subject to the terms set out in the Price Terms.

We can end this agreement by giving you 30 days notice. We may also end this agreement if you break the terms of this agreement.

Use of the service and content on the site

You acknowledge that we are not responsible for the content about your products or for reviewing, editing, testing or maintaining your content, however we may amend or remove content at our discretion in the event that we reasonably believe that it is in breach of our agreement.

You acknowledge that you are responsible for the content on your site and you agree that your activities, including.

content, on the site, your external company website(s), or any marketing to customers directed to you from the site must not be:

a. in any way unlawful or in contravention of any licence, third party rights, or in contravention of UK laws.

b. offensive, indecent, menacing, nuisance or causing annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety or contain child pornography;

c. in any way which we reasonably think will, or is likely to, be detrimental to the functionality of the site or to the Searchmystreet brand;

d. introduce any computer viruses, trojan horses, worms or anything else designed to interfere with or corrupt the normal operation of a computer, or intercept or extract information of any kind from the site or customer without authority.

We take the misuse described above very seriously, and you agree to take all reasonable steps to make sure that it does not happen. If we reasonably believe that it has happened, we may take immediate action to suspend or end your and your customers’ access to the site without telling you first, even if you were not aware of the misuse. We may also remove any content that we reasonably believe is in breach of this paragraph.

Security

You are responsible for the security and proper use of any user IDs and passwords and must take all necessary steps to ensure that they are kept confidential, secure, used properly and not disclosed to unauthorised people.

You must immediately inform us if there is any reason to believe that a user ID or password has or is likely to become known to someone not authorised to use it or is being or likely to be used in an unauthorised way.

You must immediately inform us of any changes to the information you have supplied when applying for the service.

Data Protection

You must act at all times in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, as may be amended from time to time

You agree that any information relating to the products you market through our site or your own external site(s), including but not limited to specification, functionality, performance and price will be substantially accurate and complete at all times
